St. Louis-based SSM Health is partnering with the St. Louis Area Foodbank on a new initiative.
SSM Health will provide needy patients with two days’ worth of food after they're discharged.
The Bread Basket Program is slated to start by mid-November at SSM Health’s seven adult hospitals in St. Louis, St. Louis County and St. Charles County.
