St. Louis-based SSM Health has agreed to pay roughly $1 million in a settlement agreement.
The settlement resolves claims that the health system waived patient copays, causing Medicare and the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program to overpay for prescriptions.
A whistleblower in the case will receive $159,210 of the settlement.
