Sriracha flavor launched in alcohol product

Much like pumpkin spice and bacon before it, the spicy, sweet, garlicky, Southeast Asian condiment sriracha is now being distilled into an unorthodox flavor for things like candy and booze.

Phillips Distilling this month launched UV Sriracha Vodka, which is being marketed for use in Bloody Marys, according to Bloomberg Businessweek.

Company officials expect to sell 2.4 million bottles of the chili pepper-flavored vodka within a year.
