Sri Lanka’s new prime minister on Monday said the country is down to a one-day supply of gasoline.
Ranil Wickremesinghe, who was appointed last week as prime minister of the crisis-hit country, said, "The next couple of months will be the most difficult ones of our lives."
Wickremesinghe said the country needs $75 million in foreign exchange to pay for essential imports.
