Leadership changes are on the way at two SRC Holdings Corp. subsidiaries.

Chris Kleinfeld was selected as general manager of SRC Electrical, and Dustin Davenport was picked to lead SRC Heavy Duty as general manager, according to a news release. Both began transitioning into their roles on Nov. 1, with the changes effective Feb. 1, 2023.

Kleinfeld is moving into the electrical division role after serving since 2019 as general manager of SRC Heavy Duty. He's credited with leading the engine remanufacturing division through the COVID-19 pandemic and through a financial turnaround that included a 45% increase in profits before tax 2019-22.

“As an engineer, I’ve always had a passion for technology and innovation,” Kleinfeld said in the release. “I’m excited to be part of the SRC team that will push the forefront of remanufacturing technology in an increasingly electrified transportation industry.”

Kleinfeld, who joined SRC Heavy Duty in 2012, succeeds Tim Stack, SRC Holdings executive vice president who held the role on an interim basis, according to spokesperson Danielle Rapp.

SRC Electrical's remanufacturing product line includes electronic control modules, displays and instruments, electromechanical devices and GPS receivers and antennas, according to its website.

Davenport, director of operations at SRC Heavy Duty, is Kleinfeld's successor in the general manager role, according to the release. Davenport joined the business in 2014.

“After this opportunity was presented to me, it didn’t take very long to agree to help lead our HD team," he said in the release.

In his operations role, Davenport is credited with leading the team to record production numbers and providing support during a 90,000-square-foot facility expansion.

SRC Heavy Duty, aka Springfield ReManufacturing Corp., remanufactures diesel engines and components, turbochargers and fuel systems, among other products, according to its website.

SRC Holdings Corp. has 12 subsidiaries, according to the release.

SRC ranked No. 12 in May on Springfield Business Journal’s list of the area’s largest employers. The company reported 1,650 local employees and declined to provide revenue figures.
