SRC is moving its engine disassembly and cleaning processes to a 160,000-square-foot facility, 601 14th St., which is currently occupied by another SRC subsidiary, Encore Inc.
The facility had been used primarily for storage, said SRC Automotive General Manager Marty Callison. Encore operations are being consolidated in Springfield, and its one Monett staff member will transfer.
The expanded remanufacturing operations will begin Feb. 1, 2006.
“It’ll be good for the Monett community,” Callison said.
