Square picks up food-delivery service Caviar

Square said Monday it will buy food-delivery startup Caviar, expanding its focus from enabling payments at food trucks and corner stores.

The Wall Street Journal reports the move puts Square in the middle of the fast-growth tech sector of delivery of goods and services.

Terms were not disclosed, but the New York Times reported earlier Square was in talks to pay $90 million in stock.
