Josh Lollis, assistant principal of Hillcrest High School, will be the next principal of Parkview High School.

Springfield Public Schools announced Lollis will replace Megan Brown, who is moving to a new administrative role for the 2026-27 year. Brown, who is married to Central High School principal Jeremy Brown, has been the Parkview principal since 2023.

“I am honored to join the leadership team at Parkview,” Lollis said in a news release. “I believe that building positive relationships is fundamental to creating a safe and supportive school culture. I am committed to working alongside the wonderful team of administrators, staff and community partners to ensure the success of all the students we serve.”

Lollis spent 10 years as a teacher in Ozark before he was hired by SPS in 2022 for his current position. He is certified to teach social studies and English language arts, according to an online database by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

“During his time in leadership with SPS, Mr. Lollis has demonstrated his effectiveness in implementing professional learning communities that result in increased teacher collaboration, student data analysis and the sharing of instructional best practices,” said Sheila Wynn, executive director of high schools, in the release. “He will be a wonderful fit for the Parkview community.”

Lollis is enrolled in a doctoral program at Southwest Baptist University. He will start the new role July 1. A starting salary has not yet been announced.
