Sprint's parent is splitting up

Sprint's parent company is separating as part of a reorganization plan approved Monday.

The board of SoftBank Group Corp. approved a reorganization to separate its domestic operations in Japan from its global operations.

The international division includes its controlling stake in Overland Park, Kan.-based Sprint Corp.
