Overland Park, Kan.-based Sprint Corp. (NYSE:S) recorded its first quarterly profit in six years, according to a Kansas City Business Journal report.
Profit for the quarter ending Sept. 30 was $383 million, which is up from a loss of $767 million in the same quarter last year. Net operating revenue was down by less than 1 percent to $8.68 billion.
The announcement came a day after the company expanded its 4G LTE network to 45 new cities.
