Sprint Corp. filed suit against New York-based cable provider Mediacom Communications Corp.
The suit claims Mediacom's digital phone and business phone services violate 13 of Sprint's patents for voice-over-packet technology.
Sprint is seeking damages in "an amount not yet determined" for each infringement, according to the Kansas City Business Journal.
