Sprint shakes up leadership

Sprint Corp. announced a flurry of changes in its executive ranks, with a new chief financial officer, chief operating officer and chief technology officer.

The Overland Park, Kan.-based carrier said the moves are meant to strengthen its senior management under CEO Marcelo Claure.

According to the Kansas City Business Journal, CFO Joe Euteneuer is stepping down after four years and being replaced by Tarek Robbiati, who most recently was CEO and managing director at FlexiGroup Ltd., an Australian consumer finance company.

Gunther Ottendorfer was named COO of technology, and the company promoted John Saw, its chief network officer, to CTO.
