Sprint lays off hundreds more tech, network staff

The layoffs keep coming at Sprint Corp. as it aims to further cut costs.

A Friday filing with the Virginia Community Colleges System indicate the career is cutting 235 employees in Reston and Herndon, Va., specifically information technology, portfolio management and network operation workers, according to the Kansas City Business Journal.

The latest cuts in Virginia come about a week after Sprint dismissed 452 employees from its IT, portfolio management and network operations at its Overland Park, Kan., headquarters.
