A program led by Boulder, Colo.-based Techstars is bringing 10 startup technology companies to the Sprint Mobile Health Accelerator, according to the Kansas City Business Journal.
Officials from Sprint Corp. and Techstars reviewed hundreds of applicants for the three-month program in which each startup can receive up to $120,000 in funding and gain access to more than 80 mentors. To culminate the accelerator program, the 10 companies will make pitches to an audience of investors and business leaders from around Kansas City and the United States, the journal reported.
In the first round, the companies are concentrated in health care technologies such as hardware and software platforms, transformative services, data collection and mobile applications.

- Yosko, Cambridge, Mass.
