Springfield voters to decide city's future April 3

Springfield voters will April 3 select a new mayor and a trio of new council members. The choices made at the polls will determine not only the shape of this city in the immediate future, but its long-term growth and development, both physical and economic. SBJ reporter Cheryl Capages queried local candidates about their positions on topics of interest to the business community. Among the issues covered are balancing growth with quality of life, crime, transportation, urban redevelopment and industry attraction.
