The event, Envision SP5, will be 10 a.m.–4 p.m. at the mall’s JC Penney East Court, near the Ruby Tuesday’s entrance. Envision SP5 is the final leg of the district’s initial strategic planning process for the next five years, starting in August.
Community members are invited to visit with Superintendent Norman Ridder, school board members, school faculty and other district employees. The district is seeking feedback and ideas related to topics including academic and curriculum changes, technology needs, student achievement, facility needs, attendance, transportation, accountability and individual schools.
Planning for the next five years so far has included surveys, focus groups, input sessions.
Student ensemble performances and the PTA Reflections Showcase art show will be among entertainment at Saturday’s event.
