Bolivar-based Shelenhamer Construction is the general contractor for a new 33,000-square-foot building in the Department of Public Works compound. There will be offices and a training facility and 16 to 20 garage bays for truck storage. Pellham Phillips is the architect and the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer. Wells & Scaletty is the structural engineer. The pre-engineered building with masonry on the exterior is scheduled for completion Sept. 1. The estimated construction cost is $2.6 million.
