Springfield police officer, 3 civilians killed in gas station shooting

Springfield Police Department officer Christopher Walsh and three civilians were killed by a gunman late Sunday night.

The shooting occurred at a Kum & Go convenience store on East Chestnut Expressway near U.S. Highway 65.

The shooter also was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
