Springfield Office Supply Inc. moved in mid-March to its new 25,000-square-foot location on West Kingsley. Owned by Bill Abbott Sr., Spring-field Office Supply Inc. is the parent name of Springfield's Office Plus and a franchise of Office Furniture USA.

The 25,000-square-foot location cost an estimated $1.7 million. It includes a 10,000-square-foot furniture showroom, a 10,000-square-foot warehouse and 2,000 square feet of retail space.

The company acted as its own general contractor for the now-completed structure. The architect for the new building is Burns & Associates.

Springfield Office Supply Inc. is planning an open house in early May, Abbott said, which will allow time for landscaping to be completed.
