Springfield lawyer to be appointed as circuit judge

Bob Lawson Jr., an attorney and partner with Blackwell Sanders LLP in Springfield, will be appointed by Gov. Matt Blunt to serve as circuit judge of the 31st Judicial Circuit, Division II.

Lawson, 49, has practiced law for more than 24 years, focusing his practice on employment law. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville and a law degree from the University of Arkansas-Little Rock.
