The Springfield Convention & Visitors Bureau released 2022 data on city hotels, with officials saying the industry "fared well" during the year.
Room revenue for the year grew 10.6% compared with 2021, according to data released yesterday by the CVB. The total room revenue figure was roughly $142.5 million, according to CVB officials.
Occupancy at Springfield hotels dipped 1.7% to 63.6% in 2022. The average daily rate for those hotels rose 10.7% to $97.90.
Revenue per available room was $62.29, an 8.9% increase, according to the CVB.
Evergreen Hair House opened; the Ozark Chamber of Commerce moved to a new home; and Dirk’s Tavern LLC got its start on C-Street.
