Queen City home prices again rose in November, according to the latest data from real estate market tracker CoreLogic.
Springfield prices - including distressed sales that factor short sales and real-estate owned transactions - increased 6.6 percent from November 2015. Prices were up 0.6 percent in November from October, according to a news release.
The city’s home price increase outpaced Missouri but was beaten by the national average.
Compared with the same month of 2015, November home prices increased by 5 percent in Missouri and by 7.1 percent in the United States, according to the release.
"Home prices continue to march higher, with home prices in 27 states above their precrisis peak levels," said Anand Nallathambi, president and CEO of CoreLogic, in the release. "Nationally, the CoreLogic Home Price Index remains 4 percent below its April 2006 peak, but should surpass that peak by the end of 2017."
