Springfield health care tech company debuts at No. 40 on Inc. 5000

Springfield health care technology management company Capital i LLC debuted high on Inc. magazine's annual list of the fastest growing private companies in the United States.

Five-year old Capital i is No. 40 on the Inc. 5000, which ranks companies based on three-year revenue growth. The Springfield company reported 9,370% growth in revenue over the three-year period. Revenue figures for the companies are not disclosed by Inc.

Capital i, which earlier this year placed No. 3 on the annual Inc. 5000 Regionals list for companies in the Midwest, provides health care to servicemembers and veterans through health care technology management solutions, according to its website.

The other local companies on the Inc. 5000 are:
• No. 980 Next Level Solutions, which builds custom software and policy-building claims management systems, 604% three-year growth.
• No. 1,392 Epic Strategies LLC, a full-service marketing agency, 420% three-year growth.
• No. 3,969 Sun Solar LLC, which provides solar panel installation and leasing programs, 117% three-year growth.
• No. 4,976 The Payroll Co., a payroll and human resources outsourcing firm, 74% three-year growth.

The top-ranking Missouri company on the Inc. 5000 list is No. 3 Birch Creek Energy, a St. Louis energy company with three-year revenue growth of 87,665%. Capital i is second in Missouri.

No. 1 on the full list is Nashville, Tennessee-based health services firm CareBridge, with 157,144% three-year revenue growth.
