The 12,500-square-foot Springfield-Greene County Botanical Center at Nathanael Greene/Close Memorial Park is on pace for an October completion date, according to officials with architecture firm H Design Group LLC. The building is designed to achieve Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design-Silver status and will have a standing-seam metal roof, according to previous Springfield Business Journal coverage.
