The Hamras own Wendy’s of Missouri, which has 26 Wendy’s restaurants across the state. The company is a division of Springfield’s Hamra Enterprises.
At the Sept. 22 Wendy’s International Fall Update meeting in San Antonio, the Hamras and Rolla Wendy’s General Manager Ed Curran were presented with the Silver Cup award, recognizing the restaurant’s ranking as one of the top 14 Wendy’s out of 6,600 locations worldwide. The award is based on service, quality, cleanliness, food, safety, customer courtesy and leadership during an unannounced evaluation process that began in January, according to a news release.
“To win this distinguished award two years in a row is a testament to the teamwork and leadership of this restaurant,” Sam Hamra said in the release. “I’m very proud of what Ed Curran and his team have accomplished.”
Hamra’s restaurants in Clinton and St. Robert were semifinalists for the Bronze Cup award.
