Project description: This project is replacing airport carpet with terrazzo flooring throughout the terminal with an updated tile entrance to restrooms and new carpet in entry vestibules. The terrazzo flooring will incorporate a design look of a river with the appearance of a grass edge on each side, project officials say. Also being completed is the upgrade of the airport’s exit lane with a high-tech breach control lane. Architects are The Alliiance Inc. (Minneapolis) and Dake Wells Architecture Inc. Engineers are Crawford, Murphy and Tilly Inc., civil; Interpres Building Solutions LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing; and The Faith Group LLC (St. Louis), technology and security.
