Springfield Board of Realtors doles out top agent awards

The Greater Springfield Board of Realtors presented its Realtor of the Year awards to four local real estate agents during a March 28 ceremony.

Nominated by their peers, the awards take into consideration business accomplishments, civic involvement and state, local and national committee participation, according to a news release.

Award recipients:

The top honor, Broker of the Year, was awarded to Antonio Serrano, owner of Assist 2 Sell and the 2014 president of the Springfield Multilist Service board of directors.
Salesperson of the Year honors went to Laura Daly of Murney Associates, Realtors.
Andy Trussell of Murney Associates was named 2013 Rookie of the Year.
The Margaret Martin Cooperative Spirit Award was given to Linda Brown of Carol Jones Realtors.
