Springfield biz ranks among fastest-growing equipment rental companies

2023 Dynamic Dozen No. 9: Superior Rents & Sales Inc.

Springfield-based Superior Rents & Sales Inc. is among the fastest-growing equipment rental companies in North America, according to a report published this month.

Superior Rents, which provides tool and construction equipment rental and sales, ranked No. 6 for 2022-24 percentage revenue growth in its category of companies with $10 million or more in annual equipment rental revenue in Rental Management magazine's annual Market Movers list, according to a news release. The magazine is the official publication of the American Rental Association. 

With 2022-24 growth of 42%, Superior Rents reported 2024 revenue of $21 million, up from $14.8 million in 2022. In its category, Nicholasville, Kentucky-based Encon Equipment had 535% growth to rank first.

"Superior Rents is honored to be named among the fastest growing equipment rental companies in North America. Our continued focus on customer service has allowed us to gain this achievement," officials said in the release.
