Springfield attorney Wallace Squibb died yesterday. He was 46.
The owner of Squibb Law Firm PC, Squibb was an active member in the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association, serving as its president in 2009, according to his obituary provided by the SMBA. He also was a member of the Missouri Bar Board of Directors.
Squibb's cause of death was not disclosed in his obituary, and a call to his office went unanswered.

opened Squibb Law Firm in March 2008 after 15 years with Turner, Reid, Duncan, Loomer & Patton PC. While a partner at the Springfield firm 1994-2008, Squibb practiced automotive product liability defense.
In 2009, Squibb Law Firm opened an Ash Grove office in complement to its Springfield location. The law firm focuses on defense for companies and individuals sued in state or federal court, according to

During his career, Squibb served as lead trial counsel for General Motors on numerous cases in Missouri, Indiana, Illinois and Louisiana that ultimately were resolved without trial, according to the website.
Services are planned Dec. 23 at First and Calvary Presbyterian Church, 820 E. Cherry St., followed immediately by a visitation with the family, according to the SMBA.
