When the $3.7 million project is completed, officials say it will provide additional office space for the sheriff’s administration team and conference rooms, as well as an emergency call center space that doubles as a tornado shelter. Engineering work is by Toth and Associates Inc., civil and structural; and RTM Engineering Consultants LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing. A general contractor and estimated completion date have not been determined.
