Project description: On 11 acres in northeast Springfield, BigShots Golf Springfield will feature 56 driving bays across two stories, 3,500 square feet of meeting space, a full restaurant and bar, and a golf academy. Developer Tim O’Reilly’s project is a franchise of Peoria, Illinois-based BigShots Golf LLC. The project architect is Demonica Kemper Architects LLC and engineering work is by Austin Engineering Co. Inc., civil; RLG Consulting Engineers, structural; Keith Engineering Design, mechanical, electrical and plumbing; and Turf Solutions Group, landscape. All are based in Peoria.
Work is underway at the Greene County judicial courts building.
