Lebanon School District’s Maplecrest Elementary

True Engineering Group LLC is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer for a $4.5 million renovation and expansion of Lebanon School District’s Maplecrest Elementary. The first phase of expansion covers a 10,000-square-foot safe room that doubles as a full-court gymnasium and performance space. The gym will be connected to the existing school by a corridor, which in itself provides two collaboration stations. Sapp Design Associates Architects PC redesigned the school’s cafeteria into a multimedia center, continuing education space and expanded commons area. Bales Construction Co. Inc. (Waynesville) is the general contractor, and Toth & Associates Inc. is the civil and structural engineer. The project is slated for completion by fall.
April 7 was the official opening day for Mexican-Italian fusion restaurant Show Me Chuy after a soft launch that started March 31; marketing agency AdZen debuted; and the Almighty Sando Shop opened a brick-and-mortar space.
