Project description: The Coryell development family is adding to Coryell Commons in south Springfield with another 28 apartments for the 55 and older demographic. The first phase, a $10 million project next door, brought 130 units to market in 2015. The extension is designed with features similar to Coryell Commons, including granite countertops and keyless entry. Co-owner Dan Coryell has said residents can share the amenities: a fitness center, heated swimming pool and hot tub, and a community room. H Design Group LLC is the project architect, with engineering work from Anderson Engineering Inc., J&M Engineering LLC and CJD Engineering LLC.
