Ozark Fire Protection District Station No. 2
6051 N. Cabinet Drive, Ozark
Working with the Ozark Fire design committee, Torgerson Design Partners LLC is the project architect for the $1.7 million Station No. 2, featuring a cutting-edge design integrated with historic elements. The design team incorporated elements such as brick and stone and a historic tower, but also appealed to modern design with glass, metals and wood. Officials say they created a building to reflect OFPD’s character and pride, remembering Ozark’s history. Engineering work is provided by Great River Engineering Inc., civil; J&M Engineering LLC, structural; and Smith-Goth Engineers Inc., mechanical, electrical and plumbing. The project is expected to be completed in February 2020.
