Missouri Supermarket Builders is the general contractor for R.B. Murray Co.’s 6,000-square-foot office building in the Terra Green Office Park, a venture of developers Rob Murray of R.B. Murray Co. and Bud Hogan, principal of Hogan Land Title Co. The duo is behind the nine-acre office park, which is designed to show businesses that environmentally sensible and sustainable buildings can be built affordably. Architect Matthew Hufft of Kansas City-based HufftProjects LLC designed the R.B. Murray Co. facility, the first to go up in the office park. Engineering is by the Springfield office of Olsson Associates, which will occupy an 18,000-square-foot building in the Terra Green development. Hufft is working with the developers to create sustainable design covenants and restrictions for the seven initial building sites in the park. Other tenants include Dr. Carrie Arquitt’s Child Style Dental and Bauer Orthodontics. According to permits on file with the city of Springfield, the estimated construction cost of R.B. Murray Co.’s facility is $600,000. Murray said the structure should be finished in mid-June.
