DeWitt & Associates is the general contractor for College Station LLC’s roughly $12 million retail development in downtown Springfield at the corner of College Street and Campbell Avenue. Butler, Rosenbury & Partners Inc. is the architect and the general contractor for the development, which comprises two buildings attached on the south side to the 14-screen Hollywood Theater, for which DeWitt is also the general contractor. DeWitt Senior Vice President Randy Ganz said what’s taking shape now at the site is the theater building, for which the shell will be finished by late summer. Ganz said theater infill will follow, as well as shell structure for the two attached buildings. Malone Finkle Eckhardt & Collins Inc. is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer for the development, which will have about 47,000 square feet of lease space for retail and restaurants.
