The information session is 5:30–6:30 p.m. at the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, 202 S. John Q. Hammons Parkway.
The fall tour to the central Mexican town will be Nov. 9–15. For $1,550, area citizens will spend a week touring museums, cultural centers, the marketplace and galleries.
The cost includes air transportation, transfers, lodging, tips, all breakfasts and several other meals, tickets to the Folkloric Ballet, guided tours, a one-year membership to the association and a Spanish for Tourists class before departure. Single-occupancy hotel rooms are available for an extra $300.
The tour size is limited to 20 people. Three association volunteers will travel with the group, and all are bilingual.
