The event begins with registration and hors d’oeuvres at 5:15 p.m., followed by speaker presentations that will begin at 5:30 p.m., and a question-and-answer session at 6:30 p.m.
Scheduled speakers are Richard Ollis of Ollis Insurance Co., Susan Worley of Qualified Pension Services, Christine Bowmaster of John Hancock Insurance Co. and Lloyd Silk of Merrill Lynch Retirement Planning Services.
Speakers will address several topics, including:
• Fiduciary responsibility of retirement plan sponsors;
• Retirement plan design options;
• Health savings accounts, and how those could help small businesses manage health care costs; and
• Incorporating pension plan elements into 401(k)s.
