SpaceX is aiming to spend $55 billion to start construction of a semiconductor production facility in Grimes County, Texas.
The capital investment could rise to $119 billion in future phases.
According to a public notice, the facility would be a “next-generation, vertically integrated semiconductor manufacturing and advanced computing fabrication facility."
