SpaceX plans to fly two people to the moon next year.

That feat has not been attempted since NASA's Apollo heyday close to half a century ago.

Company CEO Elon Musk declined to identify the people who want to take the flight but said they've already paid a "significant" deposit and are "very serious" about it.
