Posted online
Killian Construction is the general contractor for the new 13,426-square-foot Spa Chateau, just off the southwest corner of John Q. Hammons’ Chateau on the Lake Resort Spa and Convention Center. Pellham Phillips is the architect. The two-story, standalone structure is wood frame with an exterior of cultured stone and exterior insulation finish system, according to The Killian Group of Companies’ Web site. The spa will have wood casement windows and standing-seam metal roofing. There will be warm and cool spa pools, steam rooms, saunas, private rooms for facials, manicures and pedicures, and private and co-ed rooms for massages. There will be locker rooms, two lounge areas and a yoga studio. The estimated construction value is $3.6 million, according to the building permit filed with the city of Branson. The structure is to be completed in January.
