A $1 million gift to the College of the Ozarks at Point Lookout will be used to construct The Keeter Center for Character Education. According to the college, the gift has been contributed by College of the Ozarks Chairman James P. Keeter of Atlanta.
Keeter, who grew up in southwest Missouri, is also chairman of the board and CEO of Royal Oak Enterprises Inc., the second largest manufacturer of charcoal briquettes in the United States. Keeter will name the center after his parents Ruby and the late Vester Keeter.[[In-content Ad]]
