Simmons Industries of Pineville has been ordered to start paying property taxes on more than 120 poultry houses in McDonald County.

The state tax commission made the ruling earlier this month.

Simmons is ordered to pay $120,000 in real-estate taxes for last year and $140,000 for this year.
