Neosho's Sunbeam plant, in conjunction with Penmac Employment Services, donated a Grillmaster barbecue grill to help the victims of child abuse.
The grill is one of the items donated and used for a recent silent auction.
Proceeds from the auction went to the Children's Center of Southwest Missouri in Joplin, a group dedicated to reducing the trauma to children who have been abused.

Under construction beside the existing Republic branch of the Springfield-Greene County Library District – which remains in operation throughout the project – is a new building that will double the size of the original, according to library officials.
