Preliminary drawings were unveiled late last month for the proposed $3.5 million Southwest Family Y.
If built, the new complex will be constructed at the northwest corner of the Crowder College campus.
The plans include two racquetball courts, a swimming pool, a basketball and tennis court, weight room, running track, aerobics area and a child-care area.
The Y board and Crowder College trustees are working on details and looking at architects.
