Randy Cope, former publisher of the Neosho Daily News, has been named the vice president and regional manager of the Liberty Group Publishing Company of Neosho.
Cope left Neosho to fill the position of publisher of the Northwest Arkansas Times, Fayetteville, Ark.
Cope will be working with newspapers in Missouri and Arkansas, as well as overseeing the company's national classified advertising program.
Liberty Group Publishing owns 249 community newspapers in 14 states.
