Larry Neff and James Bracht have been appointed to three-year terms on the board of directors of Freeman Health System.

Neff is president and owner of Red Carpet Enterprises Inc. and Red Carpet Construction, both in Neosho. He was appointed to the board of directors of Freeman Neosho Hospital and has served as chairman of that board since June 1997.

Bracht is market executive and senior vice president of the Private Client Group of NationsBank in southwest Missouri. He previously was president and chief executive officer of Boatmen's Bank of Southern Missouri at Carthage.

Lance Beshore was re-elected to a two-year term as chairman of the board. He has served on the board since 1987. Robert Laptad, who has served on the board since 1972, was re-elected vice chairman for 1998. Mike McDonald, who has served on the board since 1992, was elected secretary/treasurer.
