KSYN-FM has ranked as the top radio station in Jasper and Newton counties, according to results of a fall survey by Arbitron, the radio industry's standard for ranking stations.
KSYN, a contemporary hit radio station at 92.5 on the FM dial, had a 16.6 average share among listeners ages 12 and older, Arbitron reported. It had a 14.7 average share in 1996.
The three most popular stations KSYN, KIXQ-FM and KXDG-FM are owned by Zimmer Radio Group, Cape Giradeau.
