Wells' Cleaning Service has received the Excellence in Business Award from the Missouri Small Business Development Centers.
The cleaning service and 11 other Missouri businesses were honored for their success in small business.
This award recognizes small businesses that best show the qualities needed to be successful in the world of small business.
Mike and Kathy Wells, owners of the cleaning service, opened their business in 1995. Since then, the company has grown nearly 20 percent, employing more than 30 people.

BluCurrent Credit Union held a June 21 grand opening at an office building it renovated at 4520 S. National Ave.; Ozark Mountain Gymnastics changed ownership; and a Branson theater property made way for a new entertainment business with the opening of Star Concert Hall.
