In a special program to bridge the gap between Wal-Mart stores in China and those in America, the corporation has brought associates from stores in China to visit those in America. Joplin was a part of the project.

The first week of June, the "Teamwork Knows No Boundaries" program came to the Range Line Wal-Mart Supercenter.

There, two associates from China toured the store with Wal-Mart executives. Chinese associates Larry Zheng and Weber Zhou have spent the last month living in Joplin and working in the city's store.

During their presentation, Zheng and Zhou were able to compare working habits and work ethics at the American stores to those they came from in China.
